Dr. Irina Vaizman, MD

Dr. Irina Vaizman, MD, is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Professional Gynecological Services. Dr. Vaizman is fluent in both Russian and Ukrainian, allowing her to communicate effectively and provide care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Vaizman attended St. Petersburg State Pediatric-Medical Academy in Russia from September 1991 to November 1993. She completed her undergraduate education at Queens College, City University of New York, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from August 1994 to June 1998. Dr. Vaizman has a strong academic background, having been recognized on the Dean’s List at Queens College. She is also a member of the Golden Key Honor Society.

Dr. Vaizman obtained her medical education at Saint George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She attended medical school from August 1999 to June 2003 and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York, where she was employed from July 2003 to June 2007. During this time, she received comprehensive training in providing specialized care for women’s reproductive health.

Before joining the team at Professional Gynecological Services, Dr. Vaizman worked as a medical assistant at the Office of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Queens, NY, from November 1994 to October 1997. She also gained valuable experience as a microbiology technician at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, from November 1997 to June 1999.

Dr. Dmitriy Bronfman, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with over 25 years of experience providing complete gynecological care. He is an expert in many aspects of modern women's health, including preventative medicine, pelvic pain, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and general, adolescent, and menopausal gynecology.

Dr. Bronfman graduated magna cum laude from New York University and received his medical degree from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine before completing his residency at Brooklyn Hospital Medical Center. He currently practices at Professional Gynecological Services and is affiliated with Lutheran Medical Center, New York Methodist Hospital, and The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Bronfman, together with the core physicians of Professional Gynecological Services, implements state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, the most tested treatments, and the latest surgical technology, all while establishing a welcoming atmosphere in which your questions and concerns will be addressed with the utmost attention.
