Regina Kogan, MPAS

Regina Kogan, MPAS, is an NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant (PA) at Professional Gynecological Services with a diverse background in various medical specialties.

Regina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant from St. John’s University in Jamaica, NY, which she earned in May 2001. Later, in June 2001, she completed the Physician Assistant Program at Bayley Seton Hospital in Staten Island, NY, obtaining her P.A. Certificate. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (M.P.A.S.) degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE, in August 2007, with a major in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Before joining the team at Professional Gynecological Services, Regina gained valuable clinical experience in multiple medical settings. She has worked in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York, NY. Additionally, she gained experience in Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, and Surgery at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Regina Kogan also provided primary care and psychiatric services at Bayley Seton Hospital in Staten Island, NY, and gained experience in hemodialysis at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Staten Island. She further expanded her clinical experience in geriatrics at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, also in Staten Island, NY. Regina has even contributed her skills to the NYU Medical Examiner’s Office as a Medical Examiner. She worked as a Physician Assistant at Jason Halper MD, Ob-Gyn in Brooklyn, NY, from 2001 to 2011, providing comprehensive healthcare services under the supervision of Dr. Jason Halper. She is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional practice and stays actively engaged in her field through membership in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistants in Ob/Gyn.

Dr. Dmitriy Bronfman, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with over 25 years of experience providing complete gynecological care. He is an expert in many aspects of modern women's health, including preventative medicine, pelvic pain, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and general, adolescent, and menopausal gynecology.

Dr. Bronfman graduated magna cum laude from New York University and received his medical degree from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine before completing his residency at Brooklyn Hospital Medical Center. He currently practices at Professional Gynecological Services and is affiliated with Lutheran Medical Center, New York Methodist Hospital, and The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Bronfman, together with the core physicians of Professional Gynecological Services, implements state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, the most tested treatments, and the latest surgical technology, all while establishing a welcoming atmosphere in which your questions and concerns will be addressed with the utmost attention.
